High precision instrument with a solid-state sensor designed for flow measurements in open channels where fouling by weed or sewage can be a problem. This Valeport is fitted with a flat sensor head suitable for shallow flows or measurements in confined spaces. It can also be used in turbulent flows if a longer sampling period (> 30 secs) is used. The Valeport flat type sensor has a range from -5 m/s to +5 m/s and is powered by 8x alkaline C cells for up to 37hrs operation.

Accurate & portable instrument for the determination of in-situ shear strength of cohesive soils, either in situ or on undisturbed samples in a laboratory. The instrument consists of a torque head with direct reading scale which is turned manually. A non-return pointer indicates the reading. Vanes come in either 19mm or 33mm diameter covering a wide range of soil cohesiveness.

Ideal for sampling trace metals and for organic sampling to concentrations of mg/L. Made of materials that avoid contamination via leaching. The horizontal flow of water through is not hindered by constrictions. The sampler is also suitable for measuring parameters in water with particulates or constituents bound to them. Water level datalogger which automatically and continuously measures fluctuations in groundwater and surface water levels and temperature. Readings can be compensated for atmospheric pressure with the Barologger Edge. The levellogger can be used up to 5m depth.

The Barologger Edge measures and logs changes in atmospheric pressure, to compensate water level readings recorded by the Levellogger Edge. One Barologger can be used to compensate levelloggers in a 30km radius and/or with every 300m change in elevation. Typically deployed above high-water level in one location on site.
