Environmental Consultant

This is an exciting, full-time and on-site opportunity for an Environmental Consultant to join Exo Environmental and support us on projects at a national scale. The Environmental Consultant will be responsible for tasks related to marine licencing, applications for consent and flood risk activities, environmental impact assessment, environmental compliance, report writing, and applying environmental knowledge in project development.

Working with the wider team we are looking for a broad spectrum of skills and qualifications:

  • Report writing skills

  • Environmental Impact Assessment

  • Interpersonal skills

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences or related field

The post holder should show excellent attention to detail, have a good understanding of the complexities in the environment (particularly in coastal environments), have strong computer skills and be able to meet project deadlines. With our wide range of projects, we require an individual with a strong work ethic. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will;

  • Have more than 1 year of practical experience.

  • Have a full driving licence and access to a car is essential, although bus routes are available.

  • Job Type: Full-Time – 40 hours per/week

  • Salary: £24,000 - £28,000
